FRIED TILAPIA WITH SAUTEED ONIONS AND TOMATOES - ORIENTAL STYLE

People just love those crispy fried goodness! Here's the thing though, there will really come a time that you'll get sick and tired of always having the same, old, plain fried stuff on your dining table. Well, worry no more guys! Here's an easy one that would definitely turn a boring fried food into a super yummy dish. It's fried tilapia with sauteed onions and tomatoes, oriental style!

RECIPE FOR FRIED TILAPIA WITH SAUTEED ONIONS AND TOMATOES - ORIENTAL STYLE:

2 pieces of large sized tilapia (or any fish preferred)
5-6 tablespoons of cooking oil
flour for coating
2 medium sized onions, chopped
2 medium sized tomatoes, chopped
30g regular oyster sauce
salt and pepper to taste

Thinly rub the two pieces of tilapia with salt and pat it with some flour for added crispiness and to avoid the fish from sticking on to the cooking pan. Heat the cooking oil in a pan and fry the tilapias until golden brown then set aside.

Using the same oil and pan, saute the chopped onions and tomatoes and put in a pinch of salt and pepper. Pour in the oyster sauce and let it simmer for about 30 seconds to a minute. Don't cook it for too long as we don't want the onions and tomatoes to totally lose its crisp.

Pour the sauteed onions and tomatoes on top of the fried tilapias and you-are-done!

There you have it! It's super easy, affordable and it doesn't need complicated and hard to find ingredients. In a matter of minutes, you were able to take a boring, fried tilapia on a whole different level... Lovely!

Eat well guys! :)
